Recording artist R Kelly has released a tribute song for the victims of the recent shooting in Connecticut. His new track 'I Know You Are Hurting' honors the 26 victims killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School in December. Hear it for the first time below!

Kelly enlisted the help of a children's and gospel choir to sing the moving lyrics. He is among many well-known entertainers who have responded to the tragic shooting of innocent school children.

Last month, radio stations around the country removed Ke$ha's new single 'Die Young' and Foster The People's 'Pumped Up Kicks' out of respect for the grieving community.

In addition, a newly formed community group, Southington SOS in Connecticut have encouraged local residents to hand over violent movies, video games and music for a $25 gift card in response to the Sandy Hook Elementary shootings.
