VIDEO: John Batiste Performs Moving Rendition of 'Blackbird' in Honor of Beatles Anniversary

On last night's LATE SHOW, Stephen and Jon Batiste paid a visit to the Late Show band leader's former music teacher in New Orleans and the host tried to understand Jazz. And later, in honor of the release of The Late Show EP and the 52nd Anniversary of The Beatles' performance at the Ed Sullivan Theater, Jon Batiste performs "Blackbird." Watch the clips below!

THE LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT premiered on Tuesday, Sept. 8 on CBS.The show is broadcast from the historic Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City.
