Last night, Baldwin's Trump and Kate McKinnon's Hillary Clinton went head-to-head in a cold open of the second presidential debate, which was so bad in real life that the SNL counterparts of Martha Raddatz (Cecily Strong) and Anderson Cooper (Alex Moffat) took a shot before beginning.

Throughout the town hall-style debate, Trump and Clinton took questions from the audience of undecided voters on various topics ranging from whether or not they would each be a good role model for America's children, to sexual assault and violence against women. In response to the question about children, Trump responded with an anecdote about Home Alone 2, while when addressing the topic of women who have come forward in the past week to accuse him of attacking them, he said they need to "shut the hell up."
