VANS WARPED TOUR 2013 Announces New Domo Stage

Domo is already a virtual rock star, an indelible image known the world-over and seen on posters, t-shirts, and splashed across web pages. Branded entertainment company Big Tent Entertainment is taking this one step further with sponsorship of the VANS WARPED TOUR 2013 -- America's premier music and lifestyle festival of the summer. Kicking off this June, the tour will feature an exclusive Domo stage that will host a variety of artists from all genres: rock, punk, pop, hip-hop, folk-punk and reggae. A Domo branded tent and fan activation areas will add to the festival and engage Domo fans. Now in its 19th year, the 40-date tour will commence June 15 in Seattle, WA and conclude August 4 in Houston, TX.

During the tour fans will be met with various Domo activation areas and innovative ways to engage with the brand onsite. Appearances of the character on the Domo stage and throughout the festival grounds will heighten interactions prompting fans to share their individual Domo experiences across their social graphs. The Domo sponsorship of the VANS WARPED TOUR joins recent deals that have thrust the brand into the fashion lifestyle space including handbags by Rock Rebel and apparel, footwear and accessories by Bait.

"The VANS WARPED TOUR speaks directly to a core demo of fans that share a love for Domo," said Rich Maryyanek, CMO at Big Tent Entertainment. "We're asking fans to 'Get Warped with Domo' and will create a seamless platform for them to interact and share Domo experiences on the tour. Don't be surprised if you see Domo pop up on other stages throughout the festival - he's kind of unpredictable."

The VANS WARPED TOUR 2013 will be bringing the "Best Day Ever" to fans across the U.S and Canada. This summer's diverse tour line-up will feature Sleeping With Sirens, We Came As Romans, Motion City Soundtrack, The Wonder Years, Bring Me The Horizon, Reel Big Fish, Crown The Empire, The Story So Far and many more. In addition, festival go-ers will experience an expanded Acoustic Basement, which features established and up-and-coming acoustic artists, such as William Beckett, Allison Weiss and The American Scene. In keeping with this year's tour theme, "Best Day Ever," the VANS WARPED TOUR will be a music lover's playground with artists from all genres. New to the tour this summer is the Spotify Stage, which will showcase such EDM and hip-hop artists as Crizzly, Outasight, Wallpaper. and Stephan Jacobs. Domo's unique look and personality as the mascot for Japanese public broadcaster NHK quickly catapulted the character into one of the Internet's biggest sensations.
