Breaking Glass Pictures has acquired North American rights to the drama/thriller COLD from writer/director Rob Hawk (Fight Valley). Fresh off of her upset victory over formerly undefeated Alexa Grasso, COLD, based on a true story, stars UFC fighter Felice Herrig and Julie Stackhouse ('The Good Fight', The Dark Military) as truck drivers who disappear during a routine delivery, and the detective who is determined to find them.

COLD also stars Cabrina Collesides (Fight Valley, Worthless, The Dark Military) and Ivy Lashawn Coleman (Fight Valley, No Free Milk).

Including the cult hit Fight Valley and the upcoming episodic 'Sprawl', COLD marks the third project from Breaking Glass Pictures with ties to the MMA industry, and the second deal between Breaking Glass and Fame Tank Productions.

Richard Wolff, CEO of Breaking Glass, and Amanda Rae Simon, Esq. negotiated the deal with writer/director Rob Hawk of Fame Tank Productions and producer Sal Franciosa of Sal Franciosa Productions.

"COLD is the type of movie audiences will walk away from and hopefully learn a lesson about life", said writer/director Rob Hawk. "It will make them appreciate your family and friends, and to value the people in your life, and hopefully you'll be able to laugh or cry or just enjoy it as the great story with memorable characters that it is."

"It was a pleasure to get to work with UFC fighter Felice Herrig, who gave us an amazing acting debut performance, continued Hawk. "It was like she'd been acting her entire life."
"After the successful release of Rob Hawk's last film, Fight Valley, we are honored to license Cold starring UFC superstar Felice Herrig", said Rich Wolff, CEO of Breaking Glass. "She brings life to this poignant story, which has one of the strongest emotional endings I've seen in a long time."

Breaking Glass is planning a VOD and DVD release in June.

Official Synopsis At 6:00am on December 22, 2015, delivery truck drivers Keeta Gregory (Felice Herrig) and Holly Montero (Julie Stackhouse) departed the warehouse depot with a truck full of pallets of ice and frozen items destined for delivery to a variety of locations in two different states. The delivery was scheduled for completion at 5:00pm. The last report to dispatch reads "Order Completed".

The girls were never heard from again.

Now, 4 days later, Detective Aly Black (Lina Carollo) leads the investigation as she unravels the clues left behind. Ultimately, the trail will lead her to a very gruesome and heartbreaking conclusion.
