New England garage rockers will return to New York City to rock labor day weekend.

Tonight, August 31, Twin Berlin will return to their beloved Arlene's Grocery for a night of sweaty, bloody, in-your-face garage rock. With their debut full-length album, Sleazebrain, on the horizon, Twin Berlin kick off their fall tour dates in the lower east side. They will be joined by indie-pop band, Boxed Wine.

In an age of electro-pop, over-produced, indie rock, Twin Berlin rebels against the passing fad to bring the revival of no-frills, in-your-face rock and roll.

In 2009, Twin Berlin was recognized by MTV, being nominated as the Best Breakout Boston band and playing a show on the 2009 VMA tour alongside All Time Low and The White Tie Affair. Consequently, Twin Berlin was launched into Comcast's "On Demand" air time, and into rotation on Boston's biggest indie/alternative radio station, WFNX.

By 2010, Twin Berlin had broken out against the conventional indie-dance circuit, earning a reputation for a rabid, powerful live show. Garnering attention from the local press, Boston Music Spotlight named Twin Berlin as one of the eleven bands to watch for in 2011. They couldn't have been any closer to the truth.

While recording new material in the studio Mikey Welsh (Weezer) stepped in to create the cover art. But, before the recordings could even be finished, Travis Barker of Blink-182 became involved, inviting them to record with him in Los Angeles. "Their mix of gritty guitars and undeniable hooks really drew me in." explained Barker.

Twin Berlin released the much-anticipated There Goes My Virtue (produced by Barker) in February 2012. The EP features the single "Can't Take, Take, Take" and was released to rave reviews with Audio Perv calling the release "three songs of energetic rock that fuels your soul, pinches your neck, kicks your ass and says 'you're welcome!'" The band continued to make an impression that summer catching the attention of Boston's Radio 929 and being invited to play alongside Third Eye Blind, Spin Doctors, Switchfoot and Eve 6 at their Earthfest celebration at the Hatch Shell in Boston.

With the calendar turning over to a new year Twin Berlin hit the ground running. The band appeared on NBC's "Deception", performed at The Outlaw Roadshow hosted by Adam Duritz (Counting Crows) and Ryan Spaulding at SXSW, and cemented their place in New England music history at the 2013 Rock 'n Roll Rumble in Boston with their high-energy, sweat, blood, and booze-covered performances earning the wild-card in the finals.
