Starting in February 2013, Illegal Pete's began presenting some of the finest independent bands and recording artists that the region has to offer at Lannie's Clocktower Cabaret. It's a night of comedy, music, friends and fun. With the new year, we are making some changes: different day (instead of the first Wednesday of the month, it's the second Tuesday!); new host (the hilarious Kristin Rand!); and more guests - two comedians + two bands! A special night in the coolest showroom in town for only $5.00! Now hosted by Stand Up & Sketch Comedienne Extraordinaire, Kristin Rand.

Performing as the musical guests at the seventheenth Greater Than Social Club is a band that is "primed for the big time, whilst without sacrificing either their sense of humour or their creative ingenuity" {Crack in the Road} - Sunboy! The other musical guest is a mix between a mix between "Queen, Hall and Oates, The National , Muse, Roxy Music, The Smiths, ELO, The Boss (Bruce not Rick), Martin Grech, Long Pigs, Hudson Mohawke, Sparks, The Rapture, Cut Copy, Mr. Hudson, The Cars, (we are getting out of breath) The Presets, Prince and Denver bands" - The Royal!

Providing comedy for the evening is one of Denver's most sought-after comedians, winning the Comedy Works "New Faces" contest twice - Troy Walker! Also makin' you chuckle is an actress, sketch comedian, stand-up and musician in NYC since 2000 who is known for her parentally incorrect show The Pump and Dump - Sheyna Ferm! And last but not least, our hostess each and every GTSC is one fine lady Westword called "one of the most gloriously authentic, irrepressible personalities in the city" - Kristin Rand!
