Adkins' The Christmas Show 2014 Tour is a reverent, family-friendly theatrical production, featuring songs from his Celtic Christmas album, The King's Gift. The show combines fireside story-telling with performances of classic carols. Adkins' historical and humorous narration, loving delivery of time-honored Christmas classics and the lush instrumentation make for a truly special holiday event.

Adkins' trademark baritone has powered countless hits ("You're Gonna Miss This," "Ladies Love Country Boys," "Songs About Me," "Every Light In The House," and "Just Fishin'") to the top of the charts and sold over 10 million albums, cumulatively. The Grammy-nominated member of the Grand Ole Opry is a TV personality, actor, author, and spokesman for the Wounded Warrior Program and American Red Cross, for whom he raised over $1,500,000 (1.5 million dollars) as the winner of NBC's "All-Star Celebrity Apprentice." In recent years, Adkins has performed seven USO Tours.

In his 2007 autobiography, A Personal Stand: Observations and Opinions from a Freethinking Roughneck, the former oil-rigger recounted his rise to fame, brushes with death, and battles with personal demons. Adkins has acted in the films The Lincoln Lawyer (starring Matthew McConaughey) and Moms' Night Out (starring Patricia Heaton, Sean Astin, and Sarah Drew). He developed and hosted Great American Country (GAC)'s "Great American Heroes," and he has hosted the American Country Awards on FOX for four consecutive years.
