Join us for Friday Fest at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall tonight, July 10th from 5pm to 9pm featuring catchy country/rock from Kim Betts and the Gamble Creek Band. Sure to get you out of your seat, Kim Betts, daughter of Dickey Betts from the Allman Brothers, fronts the band with powerful vocals accompanied by skillful harmonies from the Gamble Creek Band. True to their country roots, the band includes fiddle, mandolin, and guitar solos to deliver that classic country twang. Guests can expect to hear the Southern Rock classics along with everyone's favorite hits from Nashville.

Friday Fest is a free event with food and beverage from local vendors available for purchase. Guests are invited to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets, but no beach umbrellas or tents. Emceed by the energetic Ray Collins, it's sure to be a blast. Friday Fest takes place "rain or shine;" in the event of inclement weather, the festival will move indoors to the Grand Foyer of the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall. Bringing food, drink, or coolers from outside the event is prohibited. The presenting sponsors are Hann Power Boats, Metro PCS, the talent sponsor is BNI Business By The Bay Sarasota. Additional sponsors include: Mattison's Bayside, ABC 7 WWSB, Van Wezel Foundation, Waste Management, SRQ Media Group, 106.5 CTQ, Bright House Network, Magic Hat Brewing Company.
