The Last Internationale's Debut Album Set For 8/19 Release

We Will Reign, The Last Internationale's debut album, will be released by Epic Records on August 19. The band will be previewing songs from the collection at New York City's Mercury Lounge on June 11. The Last Internationale will be supporting Kings of Leon on a series of summer dates and performing at numerous festivals, including Lollapalooza, the British Summer Time festival in London's Hyde Park and the Austin City Limits Festival. See below for itinerary.

The Last Internationale - comprising Delila Paz, Edgey Pires, and Brad Wilk - recorded We Will Reign with producer Brendan O'Brien (Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam, Neil Young) at historic Henson Studios in Los Angeles. Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine, The Nightwatchman, Audioslave) served as Executive Producer. Fans can get a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the album HERE.

The searing "Killing Fields" - recently heard in the hit FX series "Justified" - examines the corrupting influence of power while "Fire" sounds like a menacing, modern-day spiritual. Nine of the album's ten songs are original compositions. Delila Paz's gutsy vocals infuse the collection's lone cover song, "Baby It's You" - first made famous by The Shirelles - with simmering, soul-wrenching desire. See below for the complete track listing.

New York City natives Delila Paz and Edgey Pires quickly forged a reputation for poetic, socially conscious songs and explosive live performances. During a 2013 visit to Los Angeles, the pair spent Thanksgiving at Tom Morello's home and mentioned they needed a drummer. Morello suggested they speak with Brad Wilk (Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave) and got Brad on the phone. After hearing their material and bonding with Edgey and Delila, Wilk signed on.
