In celebration of Black History Month, The Ebony Ecumenical Ensemble in collaboration with Hostos Center or the Arts & Culture present "Release Your Song: Music of the African American Religious Experience". The concert will be held at the center's theater, located at 450 Grand Concourse in the Bronx, on Saturday, Februrary 2nd at 7:00 pm. This must-see concert will feature the multi-talented jazz and gospel violinist Kersten Stevens and the award winning percussionist Candido in a rousing evening of extraordinary music that is sure to thrill both young and old. "This concert marks our 34th annual concert, said Founder Bettye Franks Forbes. "And we are delighted to partner with and perform once again at the Hostos Center for the Arts & Culture Theater."

The Ebony Ecumenical Ensemble was formed over three decades ago to preserve, promote, and perform the music of the African-American religious experience. Its members are committed to the work of keeping alive the cultural heritage of African-American music. Admission for the concert is $35 for Orchestra seats, $25 for the Mezzanine, $15 Balcony seating. Group sales are available.
