Singer-songwriter Don Henley can imagine the end of the legendary band the Eagles, but it will likely be band member Glenn Frey's call to pull the plug, he tells Anthony Mason in an interview for CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD to be broadcast today, Sept. 20, 2015 on the CBS Television Network.
Henley, who has a new solo album out next week titled Cass County, says he'll probably be there if the Eagles tour again, but he can see a time when that stops. "Because I think that we will eventually, in the next couple of years, actually come to the end of it. So I don't want be the one to call if off," Henley tells Mason. So who will decide it's time to pack it in for the Eagles? "I think Glenn will probably be the one to call off the Eagles thing," Henley says. "I think it will be his decision when it's time to stop. And I'm going to leave it to him." The band's recent retrospective tour grossed more than $250 million dollars. Henley says he'll be fine when the end of the band happens. "I'll be okay with that," Henley tells Mason. "I mean, I don't really like the limelight, you know. I never have. But I have to sell this album."Photo courtesy of CBS
