The Dirty Nil Release New Video; Announce Tour Dates

Following the release of acclaimed debut Higher Power, Ontario three-piece The Dirty Nil have just revealed a brand new video for "Wrestle Yü To Hüsker Dü" which premiered on BrooklynVegan. Shot and directed by Ben Rispin and Lee Skinner, the footage was filmed on VHS video cameras at some of their local hometown shows and offers an intimate look into the relentless outfit that is The Dirty Nil. Vocalist/Guitarist Luke Bentham said of the video, "12 broken video cameras + illegal smoke bombs in confined spaces = The Dirty Nil live experience, captured for you in glorious VHS format." Made up of Bentham (guitar/vocals), Kyle Fisher (drums), and David Nardi (bass/vocals), the band operates as a cross section of the most key and essential parts of rock and roll. Windmill heroics and smoke guitar theatrics sit side by side with uncompromising noise, feral energy, and deranged enthusiasm.

The video serves as a preview of the band's unhinged live shows, which The Dirty Nil will be taking worldwide this year including a nationwide US tour and shows at SXSW 2016. Whether live or on record, theirs is a performance based on tension and cathartic release. Three friends unified by the common desire to create something vital, meaningful, and excruciatingly loud.
