ROOTS & BOOTS

Featuring Aaron Tippin, Joe Diffie and Sammy Kershaw
March 15 - 8PM
$25 - $75

Three country music legends, Aaron Tippin, Joe Diffie and Sammy Kershaw, share the stage in a one night only concert to perform more than 40 Top Ten hits. Roots & Boots is an evening filled with stories and songs featuring three of the best country artists getting back to The Roots of their music.

Joe Diffie - Since he first topped the charts in 1990 with Home, Joe has remained on a steady course, staying true to his Oklahoma roots and delivering hit after hit totaling twelve #1's, twenty top 10's and four gold and platinum albums. When you attend a Joe Diffie concert, you're not waiting for him to sing his hit - you're waiting for him to sing your hit. Whether it's Ships That Don't Come In, Pickup Man, John Deere Green, or If the Devil Danced (In Empty Pockets), Joe's music always makes you remember where you were the first time you heard it. As a songwriter, Joe's success is equally impressive. In addition to the numerous hits he kept for himself, Joe's songs have been recorded by Holly Dunn, Tim McGraw, Tracy Lawrence, Conway Twitty, Doug Stone, and most recently Jo Dee Messina, who's recording of My Give a Damn's Busted became a big hit.

Sammy Kershaw - Since his debut on the music scene in the early 90s, Kershaw has remained one of the most consistent power hitters in country music both with a chain of major hit records and sell-out touring schedules. His platinum albums were propelled into the records books by hits such as She Don't Know She's Beautiful, I Can't Reach Her Anymore, National Working Woman's Holiday, Love Of My Life, Cadillac Style, Don't Go Near The Water, Haunted Heart, and many other milestones.

Aaron Tippin - Tippin has crusaded for the working man and woman since he ripped country music wide open in 1990 with his uncompromising "You've Got To Stand For Something." On the strength of that remarkable song, comedian Bob Hope invited Tippin to appear with him when he toured the Mideast to entertain the troops of Desert Storm.

Tippin has been a favorite of-and a standby for-America's fighting forces ever since.?In the years that followed, Tippin's voice continued to ring loud and clear with such hits as "I Wouldn't Have It Any Other Way," "There Ain't Nothin' Wrong With The Radio" , "My Blue Angel," "Working Man's Ph. D.," "The Call Of The Wild," "I Got It Honest," "That's As Close As I'll Get To Loving You," "For You I Will," and "Kiss This" (a cheeky No. 1 song he co-wrote with his wife and partner-in-everything, Thea).
