The Bacon Brothers are the multi-talented real life brothers -- Kevin, the award-winning actor, and Michael, the Emmy-Award winning film and television composer. They grew up playing music together, and formed The Bacon Brothers band 20 years ago. Their trademark gritty rock incorporates a roots-folk-country vibe that's won them an ever-growing following. Their infectious music will have fans dancing in their seats and singing along at their return engagement at The Ridgefield Playhouse tonight, June 19, at 8 p.m.

Michael Bacon is on vocals, guitar, and cello; Kevin Bacon will be on vocals, guitar, and percussion; Paul Guzzone on bass guitar and backing vocals; Joe Mennonna on keyboards and accordion; Frank Vilardi on drums, and Ira Siegel on lead guitar, mandolin, and backing vocals. Philadelphia Road, The Best of The Bacon Brothers was released in 2012, and their latest 36¢ was released last year. They like nothing better than putting aside fame to deliver an evening brimming with musical talent and passion. An AllShows.com VIP Party Pass ($25 addt'l per person), which includes a pre-show cocktail party 6:30 - 7:15 p.m. with open bar, hors-d'oeuvre and priority parking is available for this show which is part of the Northeast Builders of Ridgefield, LLC Country Series and Xfinity Rock Series with media sponsor WFUV 90.7fm.

The Bacon Brothers' melodies have garnered notoriety on the country-folk scene. Kevin and Michael were presenters at the CMT Awards last June in Nashville. Kevin Bacon knows how to rock out on the guitar in a way that will make the audience forget he is one of the most prolific actors of our time -- Mystic River, The River Runs Wild and Footloose, to name a few of his mega hits. His latest film, R.I.P.D, releases on July 19th. He received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2003. Michael Bacon is currently working on the score for the film, Morgenthau, scheduled to air on WNET/PBS this fall. Michael is a Distinguished Lecturer at Lehman College in the Bronx where he teaches the Film Scoring Program. The soundtrack for his most recent film, Downtown Express, is being released on June 25th on Rocelle Records.
