Tessanne Chin is a Jamaican reggae fusion recording artist, best known for winning season five of the American reality TV singing competition The Voice on Adam Levine's team. Tessanne will make her Canadian debut on Saturday, May 17, 2014 with her Bread & Butter Band at The Sony Centre for the Performing Arts in Toronto. Tickets range from $30-$85 and can be purchased in person at The Sony Centre box office or at ticketmaster.ca.

Tessanne has opened for such famous acts as Patti Labelle, Peabo Bryson, Gladys Knight; toured for three years with Jimmy Cliff; and is the younger sister of singer Tami Chynn. In September 2013, Tessanee was introduced to the world as a competitor and eventual winner of season five of NBC's singing competition, The Voice. It was reggae/dancehall star, Shaggy who brought Tessanne to the attention of the competition hoping it would finally afford her the international stardom she deserved.

And Shaggy was right! Last December, Tessanne was named Caribbean Journal's 2013 Artist of the Year. Joined by runner-ups Jacquie Lee and Will Champlin, she performed her single "Tumbling Down" at the annual Rose Bowl Parade in January atop the first ever The Voice float.

Also in January, Tessanne co-headlined Shaggy's benefit concert Shaggy and Friends, along with such notable artists as Ne-Yo, Sean Paul, Elephant Man, Wayne Marshall, Assassin/Agent Sasco, Tarrus Riley, Konshens, I-Octane, The Voice's season five top six finalist Matthew Schuler with special guest apperaces by Damian Marley and Jah Cure. All proceeds were donated to the Bustamante Hospital for Children in Kingston.

Later that month, Tessanne headlined her first show in celebration of her victory on The Voice. "Tessanne's Homecoming" was a free concert held in downtown Kingston with bill that also included Shaggy, Wayne Marshall, Assassin/Agent Sasco, and fellow reggae songstress Alaine. That night, she was presented a City of Kingston Gold Medal and a citation by Mayor Angela Brown Burke.

On February 2014, Tessanne performed at the 21st annual 9 Mile Music Festival in Miami, Florida alongside Lauryn Hill, Stephen Marley, Damian Marley, Julian Marley, Sean Paul, Shaggy, Mavado, and many others.
