The new incarnation of the rock musical Bare began previews Off-Broadway at New World Stages on Monday, November 19, 2012 and opened on Sunday, December 9, 2012. The company features Jason Hite (Jason), Taylor Trensch (Peter) and Elizabeth Judd (Ivy). Click here for more photos from opening night.

The Mystery of Edwin Drood is playing a limited engagement at Studio 54 (254 West 54th Street) through March 10th, 2013. The original end date was February 10th, 2013. The cast gathered at DRG Records to record the cast album of the new 2012 Broadway production. The cast album will be a two-disc set that will also include a new Act Two opening number, additional ballet music from Puffer's opium den, an additional Act One track not previously recorded and eight tracks featuring the confession of each murderer. CITY OF HOPE: BROADWAY BLOWS BACK, a benefit concert to raise funds for New York and New Jersey communities affected by Hurricane Sandy, took place on December 10. The concert featured performances by members of the Broadway theatre community at the Gershwin Theatre and was sponsored by Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS. Former Saturday Night Live funny-girl Cheri Oteri celebrated her opening night in Off-Broadway's NEWSical The Musical on December 9 where she is appearing with in the award-winning musical through the end of the month. Check out more photos from opening night here.

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) presents its production of Pippin, with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, book by Roger O. Hirson, directed by A.R.T. Artistic Director Diane Paulus. The production is now running through January 20, 2013. Click here to check out more production shots!

Producer Judy Craymer presents Viva Forever!, the new musical written by one of Britain's most brilliant comediennes and BAFTA winning writers Jennifer Saunders, (Absolutely Fabulous, French & Saunders) and featuring the multi-million-selling songs of The Spice Girls. The Spice Girls reunited in honor of the show's opening on December 11 at the Piccadilly Theatre in London's West End. Click here for more from the opening.

On last night's episode of GLEE titled 'Glee Actually,' in an homage to the beloved holiday film "Love, Actually," seemingly separate storylines came together to form one merry GLEE episode. As the end of 2012 draws near, Sam and Brittany live their lives to the fullest before the Mayan Apocalypse occurs. Meanwhile, Jake and Puck spend quality sibling time together for Hanukah, Artie has a holiday dream that changes his outlook on life and Kurt has a Christmas he'll never forget.
