Austin Jenckes, a former contestant on NBC's "The Voice," will sing the national anthem during opening ceremonies at Red Bull Global Rallycross Seattle, held at DirtFish Rally School on September 26-27.

Jenckes, a native of nearby Duvall, WA, was a contestant on the fifth season of "The Voice," which aired last fall. As a part of judge Blake Shelton's team, Jenckes made it into the final group of 10 contestants with renditions of popular songs including "Simple Man" and "I'll Be." Since departing the show, Jenckes has spent the better part of the year touring the United States, as well as releasing the single "Whatever You Want" in January.

Red Bull Global Rallycross Seattle will serve as the ninth and penultimate round of the 2014 Red Bull GRC season. The event will also mark the series' return to DirtFish, which hosted the second-ever Red Bull GRC event in 2011. An all-star cast of drivers including rallycross superstars Ken Block and Tanner Foust, ex-Formula 1 stars Nelson Piquet Jr. and Scott Speed, and action sports LEGENDS Brian Deegan and Bucky Lasek, will compete for the overall victory in two full days of racing action.
