THE VIEW Outperforms THE TALK in Key Demo & Total Viewers

ABC's "The View" averaged 2.994 million Total Viewers, 586,000 Women 25-54 and 462,000 Women 18-49 during the week of April 25, 2016, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. "The View" outperformed CBS' "The Talk" (2.976 million, and 435,000, respectively) in Total Viewers (+18,000) and Women 18-49 (+27,000), beating "The Talk" for the 6th time in the last 7 weeks in both measures.

For the 2nd week in a row, "The View" improved from the previous week (2.802 million, 563,000 and 421,000, respectively, on w/o 4/18/16) in all key target demos: Total Viewers (+7%), Women 25-54 (+4%) and Women 18-49 (+10%). In fact, "The View" turned in its largest overall audience and best Women 18-49 performance in over 1 year - since weeks of 2/23/15 and 3/16/15, respectively.

"The View" turned in double-digit gains on the year-ago week (2.512 million, 520,000 and 405,000, respectively, on w/o 4/27/15) across the board: Total Viewers (+19%), Women 25-54 (+13%) and Women 18-49 (+14%). Further, "The View" has built on its Total Viewer count year to year for the last 9 weeks and in Women 25-54 for 8th time in the last 9.
