THE ROOTS Celebrate Guitar Center's Anniversary with Times Square Performance

In case you missed it, iconic New York hip-hop group The Roots performed last Thursday at Best Buy Theater in New York City in honor of Guitar Center's 50th Anniversary and the guitar retailer's new store opening in Times Square!

The Roots drummer, Questlove, about Guitar Center:

"Guitar Center is one of the few brands out there working to inspire people to make music. They are able to survive in a culture that supports creativity and musicianship, just like us. New York is where I reside and Times Square is the heartbeat of the city, so to have Guitar Center in the center of it all is an exciting moment for New York musicians."
