TAB the Band Performs At CMJ Festival In NY
TAB the Band has had an epic year and is quickly becoming a fixture on the festival circuit nationwide. After performing as the in demand opening act for artists such as Stone Temple Pilots, Slash, Cage The Elephant, and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, the group wowed huge crowds with notable performances at Chicago's Lollapalooza festival. Having generated significant interest in the industry, the buzz has led TAB the Band back to New York City for performances at the famed CMJ Music Marathon.
TAB the Band's new album with Grammy-winning producer Mark Neill is also moving forward and should be available to fans in early 2012. The band, featuring brothers Adrian Perry (vocals/bass) and Tony Perry (guitar), Ben Tileston (drums/vocals) and Lou Jannetty (rhythm guitar/vocals), has been hailed by music critics such as Rolling Stone, Classic Rock Magazine, NPR, Popmatters, The New Yorker, and many others.
"..they play bluesy, sleazy, guitar raunch.." 3.5 stars- Rolling Stone
"...brilliantly eclectic: a Stones drawl here, a Beatles harmony there, pop, rock, funk, punk." - Classic Rock
"...tips the hat to its rock & roll predecessors without feeling trite or at all derivative."- NPR
