Strand-Capitol Performing Arts to Welcome Rock and Roll Band moe., 1/26

On January 26, 2014, downtown York's historic Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center will welcome rock and roll band moe. with Karl Denson's Tiny Universe to the Strand Theatre. From a local bar band in Buffalo in the late 1980s to headlining Radio City Music Hall, moe. has touched upon three decades and produced 17 albums. Tickets go on sale to Strand-Capitol members on Monday, November 4 at 10:00 a.m. and to the general public on Friday, November 8 at 10:00 a.m.

Guitarists Al Schnier and Chuck Garvey have been among Rolling Stone's top twenty new "guitar gods" and have been featured in Guitar World and Modern Guitar. The renowned guitar play between Al and Chuck is fast becoming legendary in the genre of rock and roll. In addition to Al and Chuck (guitar and vocals), this band also includes Rob Derhak (bass and vocals), Jim Loughlin (percussion and vibes) and Vinnie Amico (drums). The interaction among the five represents rock and roll at its best.
