Contemporary, big band singer, Steven Davis is gearing up to release his first ever holiday album, This is Christmas. The album will be released on November 20, 2015 and is now available for pre-sale via iTunes and other digital retailers. The 12-track album features eleven brand new tracks and one cover of everyone's favorite Christmas song, "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas." All songs were written by Steven and his producer and songwriting partner Josh Charles along with some of Nashville's finest including the legendary John Oates contributing to "Santa Be Good To Me."

This Is Christmas is Davis' first ever holiday record and only his second recording since recovering from a debilitating throat injury that doctors thought would ruin his singing career. Going months without speaking or singing, he was finally ready to return to the studio to do what he loves. The album was recorded, engineered and mixed by Ed Cherney at EastWest Studios in Los Angeles. Davis was accompanied by his big band and orchestra, arranged and conducted by Andy Farber. Musicians include Kim Richmond, (Alto Sax), Danny Janklow (Alto Sax), Roger Neumann (tenor sax), Rickey Woodard (tenor sax), Gene Cipriano (baritone sax), Jamie Hovorka (trumpet), Greg Gisbert (trumpet), Ron Stout (trumpet), Mike Cottone (trumpet), Scott Whitfield (trombone), Alan Kaplan (trombone), George Bohanon (trombone), Rich Bullock (trombone), Josh Nelson (piano), Josh Charles (piano), Graham Dechter (guitar), Katie Thiroux (bass), and Matt Witkek (drums).

Steven Davis is a prolific and gifted singer and songwriter of romantic songs in the tradition of the great American Singers. While Davis currently resides in Los Angeles, he hails from Kansas City and grew up in Omaha where he was immersed in music at a very early age. His work has taken him to stages across the world. Following in the footsteps of his musical icons, Bennett and Rosemary Clooney, Davis has headlined at venues such as Rainbow and Stars in Rockefeller Center and Rainbow Room where he was also the bandleader, host and singer.
