On December 2, indie art-rock band Sky-Pony will hit the stage at Joe's Pub. Since its formation in 2012, Sky-Pony has garnered a cult following for sets that blur the line between rock show and theatrical event. They've played sold-out sets at venues including Joe's Pub, Mercury Lounge and the Knitting Factory.

The group is led by Lauren Worsham (singer/actress currently appearing in A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder on Broadway) and her husband Kyle Jarrow (Obie Award winning writer/composer best known for A Very Merry Unauthorized Children's Scientology Pageant and Whisper House, as well as the recent CW network script order Ze).

It all happens on Monday, December 2 at Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette Street, NYC). Sky-Pony hits the stage at 9:30pm. Tickets are $15. More info at www.joespub.com.

Sky-Pony is a Brooklyn-based band that serves up lush, lyrical, often cheeky indie-pop with a healthy dose of theatrics. They incorporate costumes, choreography, and projections into their high-energy live shows. Rock concert meets performance art meets burlesque, you might say. Their discography includes two EPs: Say You Love Me Like You Mean It and Raptured Live, both available on itunes. In addition to Worsham and Jarrow, Sky-Pony also features the talents of Kevin Wunderlich, Lizzie O'Hara, Kristine Piacentile, Megan Stern (emeritas), Jessi Suzuki, Perry Silver, Eric Day and David Blasher.
