Now Sky-Pony is taking their brand of theatrical indie-pop to St. Louis for the Murmuration Festival: a new, 3-day festival that will explore the patterns created when art, science, and technology converge. Located throughout St. Louis's Cortex Innovation Community, the event brings together artists, musicians, innovators, scientists, and entrepreneurs to engage the public and share their work via conversations, talks, panel discussions, and musical performances. Some elements of the festival require tickets, such as the music and thought series, and others elements are completely free to attend. Other bands in the festival include Deerhoof, Suuns, Tycho, Dan Deacon and Flying Lotus. More info and tickets at www.murmurationfest.com.
