Sarah Jaffe has announced the addition of Josh T. Pearson as support for her Record Release show at Dallas' Majestic Theatre on August 23rd. The show celebrates the release of her third full-length studio album Don't Disconnect, which is due out on August 19th via Jaffe's longtime label Kirtland Records. "I'm really excited to be joined by Josh Pearson," said Jaffe, "I 've been a long-time fan and I am intensely looking foward to seeing him play in such a beautiful theater." Pearson, also a native Texan, gained critical acclaim across the world for his solo debut Last of the Country Gentlemen in 2011. This show with Jaffe marks Pearson's first live show since 2012.

Don't Disconnect is her third full-length album and the first Jaffe recorded with Midlake's McKenzie Smith. It's also is her most atmospheric and electronic release yet, continuing her evolution away from her more folky and acoustic beginnings. The 12 song set was recorded this past winter at Smith's Redwood Studios in Denton, TX and produced a number of standout tracks, including first single "Lover Girl" which Interview Magazine heralds as "sexy and downtempo, laced with slippery synths, it's an argument in favor of evolution." NPR's Robin Hilton also expressed his enthusiasm for Jaffe's new sound, calling out "Some People Will Tell You" - " it is just so big and bold and beautiful." Check out both tracks below.

Jaffe just wrapped up her first round of touring in support of Don't Disconnect which saw her out on the west coast supporting The Polyphonic Spree. She'll hit the road again in September with Astronautalis for a run of midwest and east coast dates, all of which can be found below.
