Sara Bareilles Announces 10-City U.S. Tour; Launches Oct. 6 from Boston

Multi-platinum selling singer-songwriter Sara Bareilles has announced new headlining tour dates with supporting act Harper Blynn that will begin Sunday, October 6th at the Orpheum Theatre in Boston, MA and will include her first ever headlining performance at New York's historic Radio City Music Hall on Wednesday, October 9th. The new dates will continue to support Bareilles' highly acclaimed third studio album, THE BLESSED UNREST, which debuted at #2 on the Billboard album chart and continues to gain critical praise. Billboard Magazine recently hailed the album as "Bareilles' most ambitious album yet," while the USA Today praised "Bareilles' third studio album is her most mature and satisfying to date..."

The fan club pre-sale will begin in select markets Tuesday, August 20th at 10am local time. General public ticket sales will start Friday, August 23rd. Sara is scheduled to release a new live DVD and CD package titled "Brave Enough: Live at the Variety Playhouse," on October 22ndthrough Epic Records which she also executive produced. Filmed live at the Variety Playhouse in Atlanta, GA during Sara's "The Brave Enough Tour," which sold out nationally in three minutes, the DVD captures Sara's entire May 20, 2013 performance. Celebrated by fans and media alike, the set features show highlight "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road," Sara's never-before-released breathtaking version of Elton John's classic song.

Sara Bareilles first achieved mainstream critical praise in 2007 with her widely successful hit, "Love Song" which reached #1 in 22 countries around the world from her debut album LITTLE VOICE. Since then, the Eureka, CA native has gone on to sell over 1 million copies of her debut album, earn 3 Grammy nominations including Song of the Year and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for "Love Song." Bareilles' critically acclaimed sophomore release KALEIDOSCOPE HEART was released in September of 2010, debuted at #1 on the Billboard top 200 chart and has gained critical praise everywhere including the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, People and Los Angeles Times. The album yielded the hit single "King of Anything," which earned a Grammy nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and was certified platinum by the RIAA. In 2011, Bareilles joined the judge's panel on the hit NBC show "The Sing-Off."
