STEVE AOKI Releases 'Bring You To Life (Transcend) EP Today

Following his national network TV debut performance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" (November 26)-where he joined Chester Bennington and Mike Shinoda from Linkin Park to perform their hit collaboration single "A Light That Never Comes"-Grammy-nominated international producer/DJ and electronic dance music entrepreneur Steve Aoki has today (December 3) released the Bring You To Life (Transcend) [Remixes] EP on Dim Mak Records.

The EP features the original version of "Bring You To Life (Transcend)" from Aoki and house producer Rune RK featuring vocalist RAS with new remixes from fellow Dim Mak artists Dirtyphonics, Qulinez, and Garmiani. On Bring You To Life (Transcend) [Remixes], French bass act/band Dirtyphonics takes the pop-leaning track into deep bass territory, while Swedish production duo Qulinez goes heavy in the electro space. Producer Garmiani closes out the package with a darker-edged electro kick. With the original version of "Bring You To Life (Transcend)" charting across the iTunes and Beatport charts, the new remix EP has already seen early support from BBC Radio 1 and premier electronic music destination UKF. The release comes on the heels of Aoki's successful Aokify America Tour, which recently wrapped and featured bass giant and Dim Mak label mate Borgore and hip-hop heavyweight Waka Flocka Flame as direct support with special guest Pharrell Williams (The Neptunes/N.E.R.D.) on select dates. During his sold-out homecomingLos Angeles tour stop at the Shrine Expo Hall (November 15), Aoki reached a new career high by setting two official Guinness Book of World Records entries with the help of the 5,000 attending concertgoers: Longest Scream By A Crowd and Most People Lighting A Glowstick Simultaneously.

Steve Aoki continues his Steve Aoki's Birthday for Relief efforts to help victims of the recent Typhoon Haiyan in partnership with Music for Relief-a non-profit charity organization founded by Linkin Park and dedicated to providing aid to survivors of natural disasters and the prevention of such disasters. In recognition of his recent 36th birthday, Steve Aoki has pledged to match up to $36,000 in donations ($1,000 for every year he's been alive) to Music for Relief for Typhoon Haiyan Relief. That means that with the help of his fans, $72,000 will go to the Philippines to provide urgent medical treatment, medicine, and supplies to the survivors of the typhoon. Whoever donates or raises the most money for Steve Aoki's Birthday for Relief will win a trip to see him perform on New Year's Eve in Cancun, Mexico. Additionally, the promoter for the New Year's Eve show, Carlos Anaya of Alive Entertainment, has generously donated an additional $10,000 to the cause.
