"My name is Peter Hollens and I make music using only my voice and mouth." This is the welcoming message on Peter Hollens' Youtube Channel. The one-man a cappella artist uses Youtube as his main platform for releasing his self-produced and self-edited cover videos. Over 800,000 subscribers have enjoyed Peter's covers over the past three years, which have ranged from Broadway classics to Top 40 favorites and recognizable cinematic and video game theme songs.

Talk about covering all of the bases! His latest video is a version of the classic folk song "She Moved Through The Fair" - other well-known versions include Celtic Woman and Josh Groban. Check it out here!: http://youtu.be/Jka08wZUiFc

Different from Peter's typical videos that allow viewers a peek into the up-beat recording process through split-screen editing, Hollens chooses a more traditional take on shooting this music video. "I like how the song lends itself to a cinematic feel, and I wanted the video to be focused on telling a story," Hollens remarks on the video's filming style. Peter utilizes the breathtaking scenery from his home state of Oregon to do just that: tell a visually stunning story with a wide range of vocals set to a hauntingly beautiful melody.

Hollens received significant recognition in 2010 on Season 2 of NBC's "The Sing Off" through his co-founded a cappella group, On The Rocks. While on the show, judges Shawn Stockman, Nicole Scherzinger, and Ben Folds praised Hollens for his standout performances. Since then, Hollens has been heavily involved in promoting the collegiate a cappella arts through recording, producing, and judging competitions. Not only does Hollens have the talent to record, but he also has the talent to entertain and has performed in iconic venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and the Beacon Theatre in New York City.??Peter Hollens' upcoming self-titled album, which he recorded and produced himself, will be available on October 28th on Portrait/Sony Music Masterworks, and is available for pre-order now!
