A rumored surprise appearance by Kanye West caused a "near riot" outside New York City's Webster Hall concert venue early this morning according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The rapper initially decided to be a last-minute line up addition for the annual Governors Ball concert, which was forced to cancel this weekend's three-day event due to inclement weather in the New York area. However following news of cancellation, rumors began to circulate that West would appear at a "soon-to-be-announced" alternative indoor venue. Once the site was revealed to be Webster Hall, thousands of fans rushed to the 13th Street in the East Village, with one observer reporting "near-riot" conditions. Check out the tweets below:
