To celebrate the Nelson Riddle / Linda Ronstadt three album collaboration of the Great American Songbook, Broadway World Award Winner and PLAYBILL Pick Robyn Spangler sings selections from the three platinum certified albums: "What's New", "Lush Life" and "For Sentimental Reasons".

When Linda Ronstadt decided she wanted to do an album of American standards, she wanted the moon. She wanted Nelson Riddle to do the arrangements. After all Nelson Riddle loved arranging for singers making Dean, Frank, Ella, Judy, Nat, Peggy and Rosemary household names. It turned out to be an exceptional pairing and some of the last arrangements of Mr. Riddle's career.

Robyn grew up on the 'Nelson Riddle Sound' although she didn't think of it that way as a child. Linda Ronstandt's dominance in pop music was added to her musical psyche in middle school and the two have been writing on the musical slate of who she is ever since. "I can think of no better way to honor this music and to keep it alive" says Spangler.
