Breaking Glass Pictures and Yellow Rick Road Productions are proud to announce the Blu-Ray (SRP $29.99) and DVD (SRP $24.99) release of the award-winning rock documentary An Affair of the Heart, an homage to Rick Springfield's classic song and an intimate portrait of the singer's unique relationship with seven devoted fans who put their lives on hold to follow him on tour. The film will be released nationwide on July 16th.

The Grammy Award-winning musician, songwriter, actor and best-selling author was quoted as saying, "It was a real laugh/cry kind of thing. As a person, I am kind of peripheral. It is about their connection, what they view and how they interpreted who I was, and the right times that music that they liked came along to help them to get through difficult stuff." He adds, "I get the stories. I am very proud to be part of it, but it is more their power than mine."

For many fans, Rick Springfield is much more than a celebrity crush; some have overcome deep trauma by connecting with his music, for others he has served as a catalyst for life-long friendships, and without fail all have a unique bond with him.
