Report: Spice Girls Offered $41 Million for Las Vegas Reunion Shows

Could the Spice Girls be gearing up for a 20th Anniversary Las Vegas reunion?

According to The Daily Star, the 1990s super group has been offered £25 Million (or $41 million) for a series of reunion performances in Las Vegas.

A source told the publication: "A Spice Girls reunion in Vegas could easily generation $100 million worth of PR in a few weeks and earn the group $41 million in the process...'There's huge interest from various major casinos and hotels so it's just a case of whether the girls can persuade Victoria to change her mind on the project.''

The source later said: ''Posh is more than happy for the four girls to do it without her but the problem is the offer is only on the table for all five of them.''

The British pop group The Spice Girls formed in 1994. The group consisted of five members, Melanie Brown ("Scary Spice"), Melanie Chisholm ("Sporty Spice"),Emma Bunton ("Baby Spice"), Geri Halliwell ("Ginger Spice"), and Victoria Beckham, née Adams ("Posh Spice"). They were signed to Virgin Records and released their debut single, "Wannabe", in 1996, which hit number-one in more than 30 countries and helped establish the group as a global phenomenon.

Credited for Being the pioneers that paved the way for the commercial breakthrough of teen pop in the late 1990s, their debut album, Spice, sold more than 28 million copies worldwide, becoming the best-selling album by a female group in music history. They have sold over 80 million records worldwide, making them the best-selling female group of all time, one of the best-selling pop groups of all time, and also making them the most successful British band since the Beatles.
