Legendary R&B and soul singer/songwriter Keith Sweat will be performing live at the Morris Performing, South Bend, Indiana, on Saturday, April 26, 2014, at 8:00 p.m.

Legendary R&B and soul singer/songwriter KEITH SWEAT has sold more than 25 million records and received the 2013 Soul Train Life Time Achievement Award.

Keith was born in Harlem not far from the famed Apollo Theatre, worked at the New York Stock Exchange in the commodities market and sang at nightclubs until he was discovered in 1987. Sweat released his debut album "Make It Last Forever" in 1987 which sold over 3 million copies. The song "I Want Her" hit No. 1 and the title track reached No. 2 on the R&B charts

His second album in 1990, "I'll Give All My Love to You" reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart and had hit songs "Make You Sweat" which reached No. 1 on R&B charts and No. 14 on pop charts. "I Give All My Love to You" also reached No. 1 on the R&B charts and No. 7 on the pop charts. The song "Merry Go Round" made No. 2 and "Your Love, Pt. 2 No. 4 on the R&B charts. His third album in 1991 entitled "Keep It Comin'" debuted in the Top 20 and the title track went to No. 1 in the R&B charts.

Keith released his fourth album "Get Up On It" in 1994, followed with his self-titled album, "Keith Sweat" in 1996, which hit No. 5 on the Billboard 200 and gained quadruple platinum status. The single "Twisted" hit No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and "Nobody" hit No. 3. In 2008, Sweat released "Just Me," followed by "Ridin' Solo" in 2010.

In 1992 he founded the group Silk and produced their debut album "Lose Control" which resulted in a No. 1 hit, "Freak Me" on the Billboard Hot 100. In 1995, he founded the R&B female group, Kut Klose and produced their debut album "Surrender" as well as the single "I Like" which reached No. 8 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop chart. He teamed up with R&B superstars Johnny Gill and Gerald Levert in 1997 to form the R&B group LSG which hit No. 4 on the U.S. Billboard 200 and was certified double Platinum. LSG released two albums that sold more than three million units and singles.

His latest album, 'Til the Morning" has the singer/songwriter returning to his roots with songs like the album's seductive lead single, "Make You Say Ooh," and romantic tracks like "I Want Her" and "Make It Last Forever." The album's title track was even the No.1 most added at Urban AC radio the week of release. "'Till the Morning" also features collaborations with Sweat's former LSG members Johnny Gill and the late Gerald Levert, as well as Coko (SWV) and T-Pain.

Keith Sweat has produced songs for artists such as Men At Large - "Don't Cry;" Dru Hill - "Love's Train, Share My World;" Immature - "Extra, Extra;" Ol Skool - "Am I Dreaming feat. Xscape:', The Isley Brothers - "Slow Is The Way;" and The O'Jays ft Keith Sweat "Baby You Know."

Sweat broadcasts the syndicated radio show "The Sweat Hotel" in markets across the U.S. The show plays music from the 70s to current releases and is broadcast in Atlanta from his studio at Premiere Radio Networks. In 2007 he produced the CD "Sweat Hotel Live." Sweat authored the relationship book titled Make It Last Forever: The Do's and the Don'ts.
