Teddy Riley & Blackstreet Featuring Dave Hollister bring the hits to the Hard Rock Cafe on the Strip tonight, May 4th.

The R&B quartet, Blackstreet, was founded in the early 90s by Chauncey Hannibal and Teddy Riley. Riley already amassed success as a highly sought after producer, originator of the new jack swing genre and former member of Guy.

Blackstreet's rise to fame was rapid, with their self-titled debut LP reaching platinum success thanks to the popular singles "Booti Call" and "Before I Let You Go." However, it was the group's 1996 sophomore album, Another Level, which catapulted them through the pop stratosphere and featured the hit single "No Diggity" featuring Dr. Dre. The song burned up the charts reaching No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and won the 1998 Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals. The album reached quadruple platinum status and would be their best-selling album to date.

Their third album, Finally, was release in 1999 included the single "Take Me There" which included cameos from Mya and Mase. The group disbanded shortly after and members ventured into other projects. In 2003, the group reunited for the album Level II.

The concert at the Hard Rock Cafe will take place tonight, May 4. Doors at 9:00 PM.
