In the spirit of giving Frank D'Angelo is always first to volunteer and help others. And this holiday season is no different as D'Angelo continues his personal campaign to help the homeless.

"The holidays are about coming together: warmth, shelter, and family. It bothers me when I see people on our streets in the cold, in a country like Canada, especially during the holiday season. So I'm trying to do something really special about it," states D'Angelo.

His new song "This is the Time of Year" is being released in Canada, USA, Germany and the UK, and it's available to purchase online at www.frankdangelo.ca with all net proceeds being donated to various charities in support of the homeless. The CD is also being incorporated into a special holiday greeting card so anybody who purchases the CD can have the card as a keepsake or send it on to others.

"My goal is to try and give every homeless person a hot meal and shelter this holiday season while bringing awareness to the homeless problem in Canada. Hopefully, radio stations and the media will support this initiative so that we can make this holiday season a warmer time for all," D'Angelo added.

Frank and his band will be performing the song live at a special VIP Charity Shopping Night at Holt Renfrew, 50 Bloor St. West, Toronto ON December 3 rd, 2014 at 8:30 pm. The event, sponsored by Holt Renfrew and Jewel 88.5 Radio will promote the song and another charity dear to his heart, the Multi Organ Transplant program at Toronto General Hospital, with 10% of all sales for the evening being donated to the hospital.

And if Frank D'Angelo is not busy enough, he has just completed post production on his latest motion picture "NO DEPO$IT" as well as an hysterically funny sitcom "La Trattoria" featuring a stellar cast that includes himself, Michael Par, Peter Coyote, Robert Loggia, Paul Sorvino, Doris Roberts, Michael Madsen, Daniel Baldwin, Eric Roberts, Margot Kidder, Tony Nardi, Art Hindle, Ellen Dubin, Laurie Fortier, Tony Rosato, Maria del Mar, Diane Salinger and more.
