George Donaldson has been a member of the "Celtic Thunder" Scottish/Irish singing ensemble for the last four years and has enjoyed success on both sides of the Atlantic and Australia.

George played his first solo gig in the New York City area last week at Paddy Reilly's and Broadwayworld.com was there for the show.

George has been a well known folk singer around the Glasgow scene for over 20 years and is the resident singer at Junty McGuinty's bar in Glasgow's famous West End area when not touring with Celtic Thunder or with his own solo show.

George recently completed his first solo CD, The White Rose, which includes a wonderful mix of his own penned words with that of traditional songs.  All songs were carefully chosen by him for their content and meaning.
