My Country 96.1fm and the WHBPAC present chart-topping, multi award-winning singer/songwriter and "piano man" Phil Vassar on Sunday, October 6 at 8:00pm at the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $55 - $75 and can be purchased online at www.whbpac.org.

With irresistible hooks and equally good looks, his piano-based brand of country music is infused with a feel-good, R&B groove. He has taken top honors from the Academy of Country Music, Billboard, MusicRow, the CMA's, and ASCAP as Songwriter of the Year twice! He also topped the charts with "In A Real Love" and the perennial favorite, "Just Another Day in Paradise."

A singer, songwriter, and pianist, he is known as one of Nashville's top tunesmiths, having written songs for artists including Tim McGRaw ("My Next Thirty Years,") Alan Jackson ("She's Right On The Money") and Jo Dee Messina ("Bye, Bye" and "I'm Alright").

Vassar continues to churn out incisive, soulful lyrics and infectious melodies that capture the heart and soul in the unique and special way that only he can. His latest single, "Love Is Alive," is no exception. His unbounded energy and limitless talent have proven him, again and again, as one of Nashville's most prolific and versatile stars. He brings an easygoing, fun-loving manner onstage and his infectious charisma infuses every single show.
