Acclaimed singer-songwriter and indie-rock pioneer PETER CASE brings his deeply rooted take on rock'n'roll to California clubs in June, accompanied by DEEP ELLUM, GASOLINE SILVER and GAP DREAM. All three bands feature singer-songwriter-guitarists with sensibilities that register on the scale of Case's own visionary but fundamental rock'n'roll.

Case met Gabriel Fulvimar and Gap Dream in 2012 while he was on the Peter and Paul Reunion Tour. "Lee at Burger Records introduced us and we did a spontaneous gig in Cleveland. Gabe has a certain tinge to his voice you don't always hear in rock'n'roll, and I liked his songs right off the bat."

Ron Franklin of Gasoline Silver has been a friend and collaborator since before the recording of Case's 2008 album, Wig! Franklin who splits his time between New York and Memphis made Blue Shadows Falling, "one of the all-time great albums you've never heard," says Case. "Gasoline Silver is the fulfillment of Ron's promise to make great rock'n'roll with a unique, personal style," he says.

As for David Glasebrook and Deep Ellum with whom Case has been working in collaboration since his relocation from LA to the Bay Area in late 2012, "It's been a natural fit. We blow up the Nerves, Plimsouls and my solo stuff in a whole new way." Case and Deep Ellum's turned out electric version of Case's classic, "I Shook His Hand," is a taste of what the pairing is capable of delivering, while Glasebrook's own songs and vocals for Deep Ellum marry traditional melody and harmony in a songbook that documents hard times, 21st Century, California-style.

Over three decades as a solo performer, Case has written his own evocative words and music inspired by the Golden State, songs like "Entella Hotel," "Poor Old Tom," "Underneath the Stars," and others he's performing with Deep Ellum. Together, Deep Ellum and Case reinterpret the songs from his days with pop punk pioneers the Nerves and LA-favorites the Plimsouls, along with solo work from his catalog that includes the T-Bone Burnett-produced debut, the widely acclaimedThe Man With the Blue Post Modern Fragmented Neo-Traditionalist Guitar, and the Grammy-nominated Let Us Now Praise Sleepy John.

Don't miss the opportunity to catch Peter Case, a legendary California rocker in his own right, with his three favorite new rock'n'roll bands: Gap Dream, Gasoline Silver and Deep Ellum (who will also perform its own set) at home on the West Coast before he inevitably takes to the road again.
