It's a Pacific Northwest Invasion as Kindie stars from Seattle and Portland perform Just Kidding shows at Symphony Space this month!

"Bring Your Friends" to this 90's style indie rock show from Seattle
Today, January 23rd at 11 am - The Not-Its!

The Go-Gos meet 90s power-punk with this Seattle-based rock powerhouse, returning to Symphony space to celebrate Are You Listening?, an upcoming album produced by John Goodman (Sleater Kinney, Death Cab for Cutie). These rambunctious and high-jumping band mates are parents who hail from Seattle's storied indie music scene (Velocity Girl and Harvey Danger). As they perform at venue ranging from the Seattle Mariners stadium to the hippest clubs across the nation, and even in Delhi, India, this band knows how to rock the crowd. USA Today calls their music "smart and catchy," and their new anthemic rock songs "Dance with Me" and "Don't Fear the Dentist" will bring the whole family to their feet. Watch for a new video next week on their YouTube channel.

A world-beat singalong from Portlandia...featuring NYC kids!
Saturday January 30th at 11 am - Aaron Nigel Smith

The Portland based artist and international One World Chorus leader is well known from the PBS KIDS Emmy Award-winning show "Between the Lions." Aaron's high-energy shows get kids play with words and simply dance along to exuberant songs with roots in reggae, world music and rock and roll. A three-piece band and young singers from the One World Chorus chapter at Achievement First School in East New York make this a high-energy singalong show for all ages. Check out Aaron's YouTube channel to see him in action.?
