Below, The Hollywood Reporter has shared an exclusive first look at Tony winners Glenn Close and Jonathan Pryce in THE WIFE. Based on the novel by Meg Wolitzer's novel, the film is directed by Bjorn Runge and also stars Elizabeth McGovern (Downton Abbey), Harry Lloyd (The Theory of Everything) and Annie Stark.

In the drama, Close portrays Joan Castleman, described as the "wife of one of America's preeminent novelists (played by Pryce) who is about to receive the Nobel Prize for Literature. But after decades spent ignoring her own literary talents to focus on his, she finally decides that enough is enough."

Two-time Tony winner Jonathan Pryce has appeared on Broadway in 2005's DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS, 1991's MISS SAIGON, 1984's ACCIDENTAL DEATH OF AN ANARCHIST and 1976's COMEDIANS.

Three-time Tony winner Glenn Close is set to reprise her iconic role as Norma Desmond in Andrew Lloyd Webber's SUNSET BOULEVARD, which begins previews February 2 at the Palace Theatre. Her other Broadway credits include A DELICATE BALANCE, THE PLAY THAT I WROTE and BARNUM.
