Old Friends Records has just launched a brand new webstore, featuring the exclusive pre-order of Hellogoodbye's "Would It Kill You?" vinyl and T-shirt bundle. Visit the webstore HERE.

A new label under RED Distribution, Old Friends Records will make its home in the alternative and indie worlds. The label announced the signing of its first artist Hellogoodbye in November, and are happy to now announce the addition of The Static Jacks to their roster. Look for more signings and new releases as 2013 begins.

On December 18th, Old Friends is set to release a digital re-issue of Hellogoodbye's second full-length album Would It Kill You, which will include three live tracks from Daytrotter’s Barnstormer Tour and the previously unreleased B-Side “Not Ever Coming Home.” The band is currently in the studio with multi-Grammy Award winning producer Joe Chiccarelli (The Shins, The White Stripes, Strokes, My Morning Jacket, Jason Mraz), recording a new full-length studio album slated for an April 2013 release. To get a glimpse of the band while they work on their next album, check out this teaser, courtesy of Old Friends Records here. Look for Hellogoodbye on the road in 2013, until then get your fill in the form of a vinyl + t-shirt bundle, slated for release on January 15, 2013 via Old Friends.

New Jersey based rockers The Static Jacks are currently in the studio with producer Andrew Maury (Ra Ra Riot, Tegan and Sara) working on their second LP that is due out in Spring of 2013 on Old Friends Records. The forthcoming full-length album will serve as the follow up to the band's debut If You're Young, an album earmarked by Newsday as one of the best of 2011, calling it "a potent mix of The Strokes and The Replacements, with enough of their own outsized personalities to make their own brand of indie rock." You can download their latest "Spray Tan" EP for free here. Stay tuned for 2013 touring plans.
