O'Brother is thrilled to announce that they will be joining fellow Atlantans Manchester Orchestra this November for a US tour. The news of the fall trek comes as O'Brother wrapped their first ever national headlining tour that included their Lollapalooza debut and culminated with a triumphant hometown show at the Masquerade this past weekend. The November run kicks off on the 8th in Charleston, SC and also includes support from New Jersey buzz-band The Front Bottoms. They'll conclude the tour with a double hometown appearance at Manchester Orchestra's annual The Stuffing in Atlanta at the Center Stage Complex on November 28th and 29th where they'll be performing both days alongside Justin Townes Earle, Grouplove, Kevin Devine, and more.

O'Brother continues to tour in support of their sophomore LP, Disillusion, which was released on August 20th via Triple Crown Records and is the critically-acclaimed follow up to the band's 2011 debut and Manchester Orchestra-produced Garden Window. Disillusion marked the band's first entry onto the Billboard charts and landed debuts at #18 Heatseekers, #7 Vinyl, and #7 Alternative New Artist. The album hones in on the band's heavy sound, earning it stellar reviews across the board. Revolver was the first to sings its praises, "Think Deftones meet Radiohead meet Alice in Chains....this is an album with a beginning, middle, and end-each song building upon the last and masterfully bleeding into the next....Don't let the name fool you; this is an album that won't let you down." While on the road, Noisey had a chance to catch O'Brother's incredible live show, which they described as their "...loud-as-hell brand of metally drone rock sounds similar to that of Torche or Baroness with vocals eerily resembling a less pretentious version of Muse.... The whole thing feels like it's designed to lull you into a rhythmic daze. The longer O'Brother's set goes on, the more totally entranced you get by the ethereal experience of their smoke and light show. But right as you feel like a giant spaceship door is about to close on them and take them back to E.T.'s home planet, they're done."

Needless to say, O'Brother gained a few new fans over their 40-city North American headlining tour in support of Disillusion and they're posed to gain a few more when they head out with their friends in Manchester Orchestra this November. This will be the second time Manchester has taken them out and will be the latest run in an already rigorous touring schedule, which in the past year alone has had them on the road with Caspian, Touché Amoré, and the legendary Alice in Chains.
