"I was blown away with BluBlocker sunglasses and asked my manager to find the head of the company that makes them. I want to share my discovery with my fans," says Sixx.

The origin of BluBlocker sunglasses started with the NASA space program. Astronauts need strong protection for their eyes in outer space where ultraviolet rays are much stronger than on earth. By blocking blue rays, which is the primary focus on the retina, objects appear sharper and clearer to the eye. Joe Sugarman, a direct marketing expert, immediately saw the opportunity to introduce this exciting new product. In his ad campaign he pointed out the advantages of blocking all of the UV and blue light-something the average sunglass wearer was not aware of.
