The rivalry between Left and Right TWIX has taken a new (left) turn. Today, Mars Chocolate NORTH AMERICA announced that multiplatinum artist and television personality Nick Lachey has signed on to be the spokesperson for Peanut Butter Left TWIX, in an effort to give Left TWIX an edge over its counterpart.

Lachey, who is known for his rich vocal stylings, was a natural choice to represent the rich, creamy peanut butter and crunchy cookie smothered in chocolate that is Peanut Butter Left TWIX. Lachey will be featured prominently in new print and digital video ads, where he clearly states his preference and passion for Peanut Butter Left TWIX.

(In a completely unrelated story, Lachey has also signed on to be part of a new digital video ad and print campaign for Peanut Butter Right TWIX, which boasts smooth, velvety peanut butter and crunchy cookie smothered in chocolate. But the people at Left TWIX shrug it off, as Right TWIX just always copies what the Left side is doing anyway.)

"Nick Lachey perfectly represents rich and creamy Peanut Butter Left TWIX, with his rich array of talents and clear preference for Left TWIX," said Kerry Cavanaugh, Brand Director. "Just as our new ads make it clear the 'difference' between Peanut Butter Left and Right TWIX, the partnership with Nick further clears up any confusion and helps fans finally know which side to pick of Peanut Butter TWIX."

Both the print and digital video ads were created by BBDO New York. View the videos on the TWIX Youtube Channel at https://www.youtube.com/twix, find more information at http://www.Facebook.com/twix.us and declare which side you support, using #LeftTWIX or #RightTWIX.
