S.U.N's debut album is explosive, crushing, real and soulful with its natural fusion of blues and rock. James Wood of GuitarWorld.com raved, "S.U.N.'s debut album is reminiscent of the classic big album sounds of the 1970s. It's raw, real music from the days when records were played on a turntable and cranked up to 10." (11/28/12) A full-page review in Drum! Magazine noted, "...a slab of blues-based rock that might have been blasting from a Camaro's 8-track in the summer of '71...Sass Jordan wails like a congregant called forth to testify on the eve of judgment day. A vocalist in the Janis Joplin mold, the singer hits all the highs and lows...[Tichy] is not only an accomplished shredder; he drives the tracks with his unfussy, supportive playing...his killer guitar tone-a thick, dripping snarl-is the best thing about his playing in S.U.N....Something Unto Nothing dips deeply into the '70s canon, but in targeted, discrete ways..." (January 2013).

SASS has an innate talent capable of conveying powerful emotion through heart-stomping, primal, rock-and-roll singing and her vocal intensity proves a perfect match for the high-energy guitar playing of BRIAN and their bandmates which provide the unique music palette that is S.U.N.

The band is grateful for all the support and positive feedback. "All of us in S.U.N. are psyched the album is finally available in stores and that it has been getting amazing reviews from fans and press-types alike," says BRIAN. "You would have thought we were paying people to write this stuff! I had to ask Sass if she was mailing out checks for all these great words of support and high accolades!"

This past weekend (2/9), S.U.N. performed a show in Las Vegas alongside Frank Hannon of Tesla whereTICHY was asked to come up and jam on guitar for Hannon's encore. Hannon and TICHY met recently when Hannon performed three songs at TICHY's sold-out "Bonzo Bash NAMM Jamm" John Bonham tribute show on January 24. There S.U.N. performed a rousing rendition of Led Zeppelin's iconic "Stairway To Heaven" and invited Hannon and Black Country Communion's Derek Sherinian to join them. Watch the performance here: http://youtu.be/L2B4s77m3ZA. TICHY and Hannon both played Gibson doubleneck guitarsjust as Jimmy Page did every night when he performed "Stairway To Heaven," often regarded as one of the greatest rock songs of all time. This video is the first known documentation of a "Double Doubleneck"performance in the history of rock and roll.

TICHY, DEVIN, Hannon and vocalist Chas West also performed Led Zeppelin's version of "In My Time of Dying," watch that performance here: http://youtu.be/2VuLc8P35XI. S.U.N. will continue their relationship withFrank Hannon as TICHY shares, "Later that night Frank stopped by to record guitars on a cover song we are recording as a bonus track for our live CD Veni, Vidi, Rocki, which will be released this spring." SASS and BRIANalso performed their first "Acoustic Stomp," an intimate acoustic set which took place February 2 at the Viper Room in Los Angeles.

Initially the Something Unto Nothing was scheduled to be released Tuesday, January 15; however, BRIANwas recently involved in a serious mountain bike accident which resulted in a broken collarbone, requiring him to undergo surgery on New Year's Eve. This news also coincided with BRIAN's announcement of his departure from the iconic rock band Whitesnake. BRIAN, a veteran musician who served as Whitesnake's drummer for 2 ½ years and has also performed with Billy Idol, Foreigner, Ozzy and more, has decided to devote his full attention to S.U.N.

"We are working hard to get S.U.N. on the road, anywhere and everywhere," exclaims BRIAN. "We believe The Goods and tools are within us, and if we use them wisely, with great expedience, as time is something you cannot stretch; we will achieve all the stuff that we've sat up many late nights talking of. We call it 'Goaling.' S.U.N. has lots of goals; it's just a matter of getting past all those goalies! Thanks for all the support!"
