New 'Glosoli' Music Video From Sarah Brightman's DREAMCHASER
An entrancing new music video captured during the ongoing world tour in promotion of internationally celebrated soprano Sarah Brightman's new space-themed album DREAMCHASER has arrived, featuring the far-out sounds and onstage wizardry of "Glosoli".
In the new tour, Brightman performs before a large curved screen upon which an endless array of 3D images are projected, all inspired by or directly relating to the content of the songs being sung onstage by Brightman during the show - including, among others, a generous PHANTOM OF THE OPERA montage, given her historic association with the show and its composer, ex-husband Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber.
In our recent InDepth InterView, Brightman and I discussed the distinct possibility of this new DREAMCHASER tour being filmed and also the idea of potentially broadcasting it on PBS and releasing on home video, long before either was announced or the tour had even begun. A portion of our conversation follows:
"PC: What do you think of modern HD technology and the ability to record performances with such stunning audio and video quality now? Are you planning on filming and releasing a DVD for the DREAMCHASER tour eventually?
SB: To tell you the truth, I haven't thought about it yet - it is definitely something that could get done as we go along, though. The concepts and what I come up with are always a journey and they carry on and develop over a couple of years, so I tend not to do everything all at once, in a hurry - I like to see how everything is moving and how people are enjoying certain aspects. So, I sort of set things up as we go along."
