Idiosyncratic recording artist, concert performer and Broadway headliner Nellie McKay returns to the Rrazz Room for a special show tonight.

McKay will perform "Night Of The Dragon" at the popular New Hope, PA, venue tonight, December 15.

The official description of the event is as follows: "Nellie McKay "Night Of The Dragon" - Nellie McKay is not easy to categorize, and that's an understatement! A cabaret-leaning, contemporary-pop chanteuse, her music is as tuneful and clever as the best of the Great American Songbook. But beneath the charming melodic surface is a wit that cuts and a sharply tuned social conscience. Her particular gift is in mingling all kinds and eras of pop music from Irving Berlin to Neil Young, writing upbeat melodies with subversive undercurrents as she does in her latest CD Home Sweet Mobile Home, in her latest solo show, Silent Spring-It's Not Nice to Fool Mother Nature, and currently in the off-Broadway hit Old Hats."

Of note, besides starring in THE THREEPENNY OPERA on Broadway with Alan Cumming and Cyndi Lauper, McKay has recently been seen in a featured role in Off-Broadway's OLD HATS, providing musical narration to the idiosyncratic theatre piece. Also, her successful studio albums include GET AWAY FROM ME, PRETTY LITTLE HEAD, HOME SWEET MOBILE HOME and more.
