NORTH BY NORTHEAST (NXNE) announces presenters and panels for the fourth and strongest year yet of NXNE Interactive (NXNEi) including philanthropist Mick Ebling, Black Eyed Peas drummer Keith Harris and SXSW Interactive Opening Party architect Jared Ficklin. The unforgettable solo talks and vibrant panels of NXNEi will animate the Hyatt Regency Toronto June 12-14, 2013. Tickets are now available online at www.nxne.com/tickets.

NXNEi will feature a roster of inspiring speakers, extraordinary presentations and invaluable panel discussions exploring the intersection of technology and the arts, while highlighting creative business strategies, marketing and advertising. NXNEi brings the world's top business visionaries, imaginative minds, and innovative leaders to discuss the latest in media, technology and culture.
NXNEi will present The Paralyzed and Blind Will Change the World on Wednesday, June 12: Mick Ebling, Founder and CEO of The Ebeling Group, tells the compelling story of The Eyewriter - a device that helped a paralyzed artist draw again using only the movement of his eyes. Mick will recount the many lessons learned from the Eyewriter journey, reveal the prototypes of his newest health inventions and share his latest project, which aims to take open-sourced devices to the masses.

In Behind the Beat, Black Eyed Peas drummer Keith Harris will discuss his storied career, on Thursday, June 13. Host Rudy Blair of 680 News will help explore the career of this American music producer, songwriter and musician - the driving force behind multiple top-10 singles and Grammy Award-winning hits. The session will unearth behind-the-scenes tales of touring the world, writing for Madonna and getting creative with Usher, Estelle, John Legend and Christina Aguilera.

On Friday, June 14 Jared Ficklin, Principal Technologist at Frog Design, will discuss The Other Singularity: Interactive Installations and the Next Patterns of Computing
at NXNEi to examine trends in interactive computing and the use of technology in social situations. Jared is well known for developing interactive installations at SXSW and other events, through his passion for sound visualization and physical computing.
