The "iHeart Radio Music Awards" (1.7/5 in 18-49, 5.4 million viewers overall from 8-11 p.m. ET) finished #2 for the night among the Big 4 nets in adults 18-49 versus sweep-month competition on the other networks.

· The awards show matched NBC's top Thursday average of the season excluding Olympics and "The Sound of Music Live!" (the 1.7 was previously achieved on Nov. 7, the night of a special Thursday "Voice"). In total viewers, it's NBC's top Thursday, excluding Olympics and "The Sound of Music Live!," since Nov. 7. The "iHeart Radio Music Awards" are up +31% versus NBC non-sports season average for Thursday night in adults 18-49 (1.7 vs. 1.3) and up +29% in total viewers (5.449 million vs. 4.209 million).

· For its sixth half-hour from 10:30-11 p.m., the "iHeart Radio Music Awards" ranked #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 and other key demos. And for its third hour from 10-11 p.m., the "iHeart Radio Music Awards" tied for #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 and was #1 outright among those nets in adults 18-34, women 18-34 and women 18-49.

· The "iHeart Radio Music Awards" topped "American Idol" head to head in the 9-9:30 half-hour in adults 18-49 (with a 1.7 rating vs. a 1.5), as well as men and women 18-49 and adults, men and women 18-34.


In Late-Night Metered Markets Thursday Night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.7/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.1/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.2/6.


· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,"1.1/5; "Late Show," 0.5/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/3.


· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.4/5 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.


· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.1/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).


· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
